Tegan Jeffrey-Rushton is a movement artist, teacher, and choreographer based in Sydney.
As a performer, Tegan’s credits include productions and collaborations with Opera Australia’s Carmen, Guy Sebastian, The Veronicas, Redfoo, KLP, as well as campaigns for Reebok, Mazda, Toyota, Avon, Dr. LeWinn's, and Zorali. She also performed in Stephanie Lake Company’s COLLOSSUS at the Sydney Festival and Holly Finch XYZ in Auckland.
Her choreographic work includes collaborations with artists such as L-FLORA and Zela Margossian’s Quintet. Most recently, Tegan directed and choreographed her original work OVERTURE, which sold out multiple seasons and received the prestigious Best in Dance award at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
Tegan has taught extensively throughout Australia, Asia, and New Zealand at respected studios and training institutions. Her versatility and strong work ethic have also led to opportunities assisting some of Australia’s and the world’s most respected choreographers. Selected assistant credits include Dancing with the Stars, Jillian Meyers’ Q&A Tokyo, Orlandoby Belvoir St Theatre, and Orpheus in the Underworld by National Institute of Dramatic Art.
Rob McLean
Rob McLean is a teacher & performer based in Sydney, Australia, with a passion for expression & feeling, connection, conversation and community.
As a performer, he has performed for many Australia & International artists including Justin Bieber, Rita Ora, Jason Derulo, Kelly Rowland, Vera Blue, Matt Corby, & many more, as well as with Opera Australia as both a dancer & actor.
Rob is a very well-respected teacher and has worked extensively across Australia and Internationally, teaching in Japan, Canada, China, the USA & New Zealand.
His passion for connectivity, within self & community, whilst opening to the healing potential within movement, is a driving force behind his work.
Rob hopes to encourage fellow artists to find voice, meaning & connectivity through movement, creativity, conversation & community.

When do competitors need to arrive?
All competitors should arrive at least one hour before their scheduled section time.
Can the event run ahead of schedule?
Yes. Level Up Troupe Challenge reserves the right to run up to one hour early, so arriving early is strongly recommended.
When is music due?
All music must be uploaded by 1st August 2026 using the official music upload form on this page.
Can I take photos or videos during performances?
No. Personal photography and video recording are not permitted while dancers are on stage.
Will videos of performances be available to purchase?
Yes. Performance videos can be ordered through the official video purchase link on this website.
Can routines be rescheduled once the program is released?
No. Once the schedule has been created, no studio, parent, or teacher may request a routine to be moved.
What happens if a section has too many or too few entries?
Sections may be divided, amended, or combined at the organiser’s discretion depending on entry numbers and attendance on the day.

Conditions of entry.
General
There are no refunds except where a section or the event is cancelled.
All competitors and spectators enter at their own risk.
Level Up Solo Challenge accepts no responsibility for accident, injury, or loss of property, including vehicles and property on the venue grounds.
Competitor ages are as of 1 January 2026.
Identification may be requested where necessary.
Adjudication
All entries will be judged by a qualified adjudicator.
The adjudicator’s decision is final.
Contacting or speaking to the adjudicator is strictly prohibited, except by official Level Up Solo Challenge staff.
Performance Rules
All solo routines must be no longer than five minutes.
Vocals are permitted in all sections, including Musical Theatre where a backing track is accepted.
Props and sets must be placed and removed as quickly as possible.
All competitors must check in with the backstage manager before their section begins.
Sections with more than 20 competitors may be divided into Parts A and B.
If entry numbers are low, the organiser reserves the right to amend or combine sections at their discretion.
Event Day Requirements
Entrants must arrive at least one hour before their scheduled time.
Level Up Solo Challenge reserves the right to run up to one hour early.
No responsibility will be taken if a competitor misses their section due to the event running ahead of schedule.
Once the schedule has been released, no studio, teacher, or parent may request a routine to be rescheduled.
Venue Rules
Tap shoes are not permitted inside the venue.
Personal photography is not permitted inside the hall while a dancer is on stage.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on school grounds.
Please remove all rubbish and leave changerooms and venue spaces clean and tidy.
Conduct & Presentation
Level Up Solo Challenge promotes a positive, encouraging, family-friendly environment.
All competitors, parents, and teachers are expected to demonstrate respectful behaviour, good sportsmanship, and appropriate conduct throughout the event.
Routines containing explicit lyrics, suggestive choreography, or material unsuitable for family viewing may incur substantial point deductions.
Media & Music
By participating, all entrants give permission for photographs and videos taken by Level Up Solo Challenge to be used for promotional purposes across website, social media, newsletters, brochures, advertising, and other print or digital marketing.
Music will be uploaded electronically to the event audio system after entries close.
Please bring a backup copy of your music on the day in case of technical issues.
An iPhone connection will be available if required.
